About John Harlem
Born and raised in Southwest Florida, John Harlem has built more than just homes — he’s built lasting relationships within the community he has proudly called home for more than 40 years. With deep local roots and a genuine passion for serving others, John’s connection to Southwest Florida is reflected in every project, every client relationship, and every role he takes on.
John’s career is a unique blend of craftsmanship, service, and real estate expertise. He began working in construction in 1990, developing a hands-on understanding of the building process from the ground up. Over the decades, he has refined his skills in remodeling and home improvement, earning a reputation for quality workmanship, reliability, and professionalism. Recently, John expanded his credentials by becoming a licensed General Contractor, allowing him to provide clients with even greater value, leadership, and oversight throughout every phase of construction.
In 2007, John added real estate to his professional portfolio, giving him the ability to guide clients not only in building and remodeling their homes, but also in buying and selling them with confidence. His combined experience provides a rare advantage, he understands both the structure of a home and the investment behind it.
Since 2009, John has also proudly served as a Firefighter with North Collier Fire Control and Rescue District, further deepening his commitment to protecting and supporting the community he loves. This role reflects the qualities that define John both personally and professionally: dependable, hardworking, disciplined, and always ready to show up when it matters most.
